60 Minute Lesson – “Trigger My Interest”

This is a class for the person looking to learn the basics about how to handle and shoot a firearm. We will provide all the equipment. All you do is show up and we will cover all the basics and fundamentals of firearms and safety. No prior knowledge or experience is required. 60 Minute Lesson – “I bought a gun, What’s Next?”

In this class, we focus on the fundamentals. We will learn the fundamental rules of firearms safety and how these are incorporated into all aspects of firearms use. We will spend the time learning the basics of safely loading and unloading your firearm. Develop, practice and sharpen the fundamentals of shooting so you can confidently shoot. We will then walk you through how to take apart and clean your new gun. You would bring a reliable working firearm and 50 rounds of ammo. Gunfighter Training

Gunfighter Basics

This is in depth, professional instruction detailing use of a handgun for self-defense. Firearms safety, act of firing, presentation from a holster, reloading the pistol, and clearing malfunctions all covered in a clear and patient manner. We designed this for the novice to beginning shooter. There is a maximum class size of 6 students to ensure you get the individual attention you deserve.

Gunfighter Concealed Carry

In this class, we will focus on the fundamentals of concealed carry to raise your skill, comfort, and proficiency with your everyday carry gear. Leveraging our experience as LEOs working in plain clothes, carrying every day in non-permissive environments, we work through the skills necessary to evaluate your gear, push your skills and develop a solid foundation for your personal protection journey. This is a small group class with a two students to one instructor ratio. We start with the fundamentals of marksmanship to evaluate your skill and tailor the experience to your needs and skills. This includes a discussion about the responsibility of concealed carry and using force. You are required to bring a reliable working handgun, quality holster, three magazines or speed loaders and 200 rounds of ammo. We will ask for pictures of your gear in advance to tailor your training specifically to you (Prerequisite for this class is Gunfighter Basic or proof of equivalent experience).

Sub-Optimal Positional Shooting

This is a next level class designed to enable the participant to learn techniques to engage threats safely, effectively, and confidently while in a position of disadvantage. The shooter will learn how to defend themselves while prone, supine, left and right side, sitting, and kneeling. The shooter will learn how to safely move from the ground to their feet with a firearm and how to engage threats at extremely close range. A moderate level of fitness is required for this class. We will limit class size to ensure student safety and to guarantee you get the individual attention you deserve.

Prerequisite for this class is Gunfighter Basic or proof of equivalent experience.

Low Light Threat Identification and Engagement

This is a next level class designed to enable the shooter to identify and engage unknown threats safely and effectively in low or ‘no light’ conditions. Participant will learn how to identify and engage threats with both pistol mounted and handheld flashlights. We will teach multiple techniques to use the handheld light for navigation, identification of unknowns, and threat disorientation. The participant will learn to tactically use pistol mounted lights to identify and engage threats. Class size is limited to ensure student safety and to guarantee you get the individual attention you deserve.

Prerequisite for this class is Gunfighter Basic or proof of equivalent experience.

Utah Non-Resident Concealed Carry Permit

This is a 4 hour block of classroom instruction to satisfy the training requirements for the State of Utah to issue a non-resident concealed carry permit. Class fee includes fingerprinting.

Maryland Non-Resident Wear and Carry Permit

This is a 2 Day, 16 hour block of classroom and firearm instruction to satisfy the training requirements for the State of Maryland to issue a non-resident concealed wear and carry permit. Class fee includes range fees..

New Jersey Concealed Carry Permit

The NJ CCW Qualification is included in the MD Wear and Carry Permit Class. This 2 Day – 16 Hour class meets the training required for the Maryland Wear and Carry (Concealed Carry) Permit and New Jersey Concealed Carry Permit

You will be given the opportunity to complete the firearms qualification for the New Jersey Concealed Carry Permit. You will need to be able to draw from a holster.

When successful, we will provide proof of qualification and use of force training to include in your New Jersey Application (The qualification requires the ability to safely draw from a holster and perform reloads meeting the time standards).

RLEIA (LEOSA) Yearly Training and Qualification

In this class, we meet the requirements for the State of PA RLEIA (LEOSA) training and firearms qualification. Following current MPOETC guidelines, we will cover the following topics: Safe firearms handling, general principles of justification and firearms qualification. MPOETC requires qualification with each type of weapon you will be carrying. Participant will provide their own range safety equipment and 50 rounds of ammunition for each type of weapon for qualification.

RLEIA Qualification can be scheduled when VINCO provides private instruction at King Shooter’s Supply or by appointment.
