USCCA Handgun Basics includes the Level 1 Qualification

USCCA Basic Handgun Course Classroom Topics include: Fundamental Rules of Firearms Safety, Self-Defense Handgun basics and selection, Defensive Shooting Fundamentals, Holster discussion, Dry Practice with training handgun.

Live Fire Drills to include the USCCA Level 1 Qualification Course of Fire.

The object of the course is to introduce you to self-defense handgun concepts. We will start with the fundamental rules of firearms safety. Then discuss how handguns work and how to select the best handgun for your needs. We will discuss pros and cons of different holster systems with a variety on display.

Using inert training guns, you will get the fundamentals of defensive shooting; grip, stance, sight alignment, sight picture, trigger control and follow through.

After the classroom, we hit the range and have live fire drills to reinforce what you learned in the classroom. You will have 2 opportunities to complete the USCCA Level 1 Qualification.

All presented by Vinco instructors who provide personal, individual, and professional firearms instruction. We limit the size of the class to ensure you get the individual attention you need to be successful.
