Most AR-15 training courses are high intensity, high-speed, and aren’t focused on the teaching the new AR-15 owner. Our goal is to teach you, the prospective or new owner. We provide instruction that builds a sound foundation for you.
This is a knowledge-focused course, meaning the only requirement needed to attend is a willingness to learn. We explain the fundamental skills of safe and effective AR-15 operations. We focus on building your skill-set and familiarity with the AR-15 platform, which boosts confidence in your own abilities.
A foundational understanding of the platform, paired with a boost in confidence, helps ensure you are better prepared.
Maximum class size of 7 students to make sure you get the individual attention you need.

On the range and in the classroom we cover the following:
- Fundamentals of AR-15 marksmanship
- Zero verification
- Accessorizing and maintaining an AR-15
- Efficient operation of an AR-15
- Have you recognize your capabilities with an AR-15
- The importance of mechanical offset for close encounters
- How to improve skills and precision with an AR-15
There are 3 hours on the range. Required equipment includes AR platform rifle with a sling, an extra magazine and about 100 rounds of ammo.
King Shooters has AR rifles to use for the class, you have to purchase the ammo.
